Will HPE Beat Analyst Estimates in Fiscal 1Q18?
Revenue of $7.1 billion expected in fiscal 1Q18
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) plans to announce its fiscal 1Q18 results on February 22, 2018. Analysts expect it to post revenues of $7.1 billion for the quarter. Wall Street has a low revenue estimate of $6.8 billion and a high estimate of $7.3 billion for fiscal 1Q18. If HPE meets the average revenue estimate of $7.1 billion, it would mean a YoY (year-over-year) fall of 38% compared to $11.4 billion in fiscal 1Q17. This revenue decline is due to the divesture and spin-off of HPE’s business verticals.
Analysts expect HPE to post non-GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) EPS (earnings per share) of $0.22 with a low estimate of $0.20 and a high estimate of $0.24. In fiscal 1Q17, HPE reported EPS of $0.45.
